Getting to Belize
Travelling to Belize is very easy. There are daily flights from Atlanta and Miami, which are linked to flights from London, North America and other cities in Europe and Asia.
The flight from Miami is just 1 hour to Belize and the flight from Atlanta is 4 ½ hours. The flights arrive at Phillip Goldson International Airport in Ladyville just minutes from Belize City. A number of airlines provides flights which connect from Miami or Atlanta to Belize including American Airlines, Delta Airlines, Air France, Luftansea as well as others.
Phillip Goldson International Airport provides linked flights to other areas of Belize as well as to the islands such as San Pedro and Caye Caulker, these flights are just 15 mins and provide an amazing view of the cayes and barrier reef.From Phillip Goldson you can pick up rental cars from a number of car rental agencies as well as a number of tourist packages and information.
From Belize City you can also use the water taxi to obtain access to San Pedro and Caye Caulker which takes around 45 minutes.
Getting around in Belize
Travelling around while you are in Belize is easy and cheap. There are a number of buses that travel in the city and to and from cities. The network of roads are very good and the buses are uncrowded and reliable. The bus fare is very reasonable.
